Rachel Goldenberg
Rachel has completed her 350 hour advanced yoga teacher training, her 30 hour yin yoga training and is a certified meditation facilitator. She has learned with some of the world’s most renowned yoga teachers, including Tara Judelle, Annie Carpenter and Leslie Kaminoff.
Yoga has transformed and enriched Rachel’s life. She found her path to the practice at a time of personal struggle, and she has experienced yoga’s profound capacity to settle the mind, strengthen the body, and heal the spirit.
Rachel’s inspiration stems from her great-grandfather who practised from the time of his arrival on these shores in 1938, and her 94 year old grandmother, who lives.an enriched and healthy life by maintaining a daily yoga practice.
Rachel’s classes are challenging, creative and adapted to the various needs of her students. Her teaching is grounded in philosophy as she weaves pranayama, breath control, through the physical practice of asana.
Rachel is known for introducing new and interesting shapes into her sequences, and giving students playful opportunities to extend themselves. Her calming voice is set to a carefully curated playlist that encourages students to feel. She peppers her classes with personal anecdotes that relates her to her students, and encourages them to develop connection with their bodies and their hearts.
